Meeting Room
The Eddyville Public Library welcomes public use of meeting rooms by civic, community, cultural, educational, political, or religious organizations Monday through Saturday during regular Library hours, except for holidays. Use of the meeting rooms does not constitute library endorsement of the viewpoints expressed by participants in the programs.
Reservations for the use of the meeting rooms may be made at the library Circulation Desk during regular Library hours. Library-sponsored activities will be given priority in scheduling meeting rooms. If the scheduled group/person does not arrive or give notice of a late arrival for a scheduled room, the reservation of the room will be held for 15 minutes, and then the room will become available for use.
Fees
Non-profit groups may use the meeting rooms during regular Library hours at no charge. The Library Board of Trustees defines “non-profit” as an agency or organization that is not conducted or maintained for the purpose of making a profit.
Generally, no event in the Library meeting rooms may begin or end outside of normal Library hours. After hours meeting room use must be approved by the library director.
For-profit groups must pay:
$40/day or
$20/four-hours-or-under fee.
There is a $20/per hour after-hours fee if required. After hours use must be approved by the library director.
All fees must be paid at the beginning of the scheduled event.

· Room capacity is 24
· Use of alcoholic beverages is not permitted in the Library.
· Smoking is not permitted in the meeting rooms or any other location in the Library.
· Light refreshments may be served.
